Q & A with Alix Bushnell

What is Britta’s focus this series?

Britta wants to be a success and to take on more adult responsibilities.

How has Britta evolved since series one of GO GIRLS?

She’s definitely grown up, she’s had a lot of heartbreak and I think she’s learning what it is to be herself in a stronger, more sure way. Back in series one, we were all so young but everyone’s coming up to 30 now. A lot happens in two years.

We can assume Britta spends a lot of time with Brad this series. What has it been like working with Matt Whelan?

He’s amazing. He’s so much fun. He’s actually such a great person and he is just so good. It’s really fun being able to come onto set and both make crazy offers that are pretty out there and find the ones that work. I think a highlight would have been the duvet of love scene in episode one. We were both standing on the bed under a duvet and it was a camera crane shot so the camera was above us and we were both basically making funny shapes under the duvet and pretending that we were…you know.

What have the highlights of series three been for you?

Working with Peter Burger. He is such an amazing director and it’s so cool to meet someone that amazing. He has such a beautiful way of explaining things and he also communicates so amazingly well with the crew and talks to us about what we’re doing in such an articulate clear way.
